Q: Will Leanier control my day?

A: No - guardrails, not gates. We reduce noise with a curated tray of microactions; the

Pull is from you; you choose the next move. That’s Lean: prevent Overproduction of

tasks so flow returns.

 

Q: Why can’t I add my own tasks from the start?

A: To stop task Overproduction on day one. We start curated to build reliable flow; as

your consistency grows (Lean Behaviour Index), you unlock selfset items without

reintroducing clutter.

 

Q: I’m used to big goals - why these tiny microactions?

A: Tiny = doable. Each microaction is a behaviour rep. Stack reps → build capability →

goals emerge with less Waiting and Motion (TIMPWOOD).

 

Q: What if today’s suggestions don’t fit my energy or time?

A: Task in your tray are curated from your response in the diagnostics. It gets more

accurate as you use the app. It adapts to capacity. You are able to skip the task giving

your reason then pick a smaller step, or choose a Reset/Reduce option (delete, delay, or

a 2minute version). Progress not punishment.

 

Time & effort

 

Q: I don’t have time for this.

A: Give us 15 minutes once for onboarding/diagnostics so Leanier can deliver clever

personalisation. After that, you move at your tempo. You’ll see a tray of 10 curated

micro-actions (replenished as you pull). On light days, do as little as one tiny step in

about a minute; on strong days, pull five, ten, even twenty. Either way you’re cutting

waste (less decision fatigue, less overproduction, less Motion) and creating flow -

without list-typing or board-grooming.

 

Q: Will this add admin to my day?

A: No, it removes admin. You don’t type lists or groom boards. Leanier gives you

a small, curated tray. You choose one, act, and move on. That prevents Inventory build-

up of tasks and trims the faff around managing work.

 

Q: How fast until I feel a difference?

A: After completing the onboarding process, you’ll see the diagnostic results & first

tasks. Go with the app & stick to it for a week. You can gauge for yourselves if it’s worth

the effort. We think it will demonstrate the concept; get you excited and give you the

confidence to stick with it.

 

Results, proof - ‘will it work for me?’

 

Q: How do I know it’s working?

 

A: Your Lean Behaviour Index (LBI) tracks decision quality (do/delay/delete/decide), not

just output. You will gradually see and feel it. Expect fewer bottlenecks and a steadier

daily rhythm.

 

Q: What if I’m already organised?

A: Great - that’s where Leanier shines. We target the last 20% that steals calm:

procrastination, decision fatigue and overpolishing. We spot hidden waste

(TIMPWOOD) and give one microaction to keep flow even on timetight or

lowmotivation days where your pristine process cope less well.

 

Q: What if I skip the suggested task?

A: Depends on why you skipped it. If skipping avoids lowvalue work, your LBI can

increase (Overproduction avoided). We reward judgement, not busyness.

 

Q: Is this just another habit tracker?

A: No. Habit trackers reward streaks. We reward judgement - including choosing not to

do something for a reason.

 

Q: What if my day explodes and plans change?

A: All trends and behaviour while interacting with the app will be captured, tallied &

analysed, by the Leanier OS back-engine. & factored into the LBI (Lean Behaviour

Index).

 

Q: How is Leanier different from todos?

A: Todos add tasks; Leanier removes waste. We diagnose bottlenecks and curate

appropriate & relevant task to help you achieve flow-goals. You have to demonstrate

your lean thinking through app usage- the LBI has to increase to earn the feature of self-

input tasks.

 

Q: How is it different from habit apps?

A: Habits chase streaks; Leanier builds decision quality. We score outcomes across

TIMPWOOD waste types, core concepts and Lean principles, to make your day

smoother, not just busier.

 

Q: Why does Leanier celebrate skipping, delaying or deleting tasks?

A: Because it can be a good judgement call. Calculated deletion can remove Inventory

and Overprocessing. Lean says “do less, better”.

 

Psychology & behaviour change

 

Q: I struggle with motivation; will this nag me?

A: We don’t nag; we nudge. The tray includes lowfriction starts (e.g., 90second

warmups) and environment tweaks that cut motion.

 

Q: Won’t micro steps be too trivial to matter?

A: Tiny steps compound. One reach saved × 300 = meaningful. That’s Lean arithmetic

on Motion and Waiting.

 

Q: I procrastinate on unliked chores.

A: We offer micro-tasks offering “make it easier” moves: halve the scope, timebox for 3

minutes, or delete nonessential steps (Overprocessing). Win = momentum.

 

Customisation & flexibility

 

Q: Can I choose domains (fitness, home, money) to focus on?

A: Yes - the diagnostic produces Flow-Goals by your preferred domain area. You pick

the theme to start working on.

Q: Can I turn off categories I don’t care about?

A: You can deprioritise domains in the diagnostic, so your tasks tray stays relevant.

 

Q: Will Leanier overwhelm me with options?

A: Your task tray will have 10 personalised tasks at any one time. You do them as fast or

as slow as you decide, but once you accept one, you need to action it by doing,

skipping, delaying or deleting. Your decisions and behaviour will be taken into consideration through the LBI.

 

Scoring, transparency & fairness

 

Q: What exactly raises or lowers my score?

A: All interactions through the app are processed through the Leanier OS back engine,

tied to various Lean considerations, & reflected through your LBI. E.g., consistency of

actions that reduce TIMPWOOD wastes score higher. Thoughtful delays/deletes can

score too.

Q: Won’t I game the system by deleting everything?

 

A: Deleting indiscriminately without informed reasoning triggers Defects and Waiting

elsewhere. LBI looks for patterns (avoidance vs valuealigned deletes).

 

Notifications & noise

 

Q: Will you ping me all day?

A: No. Context, frequency, tone of nudges and alerts will be based on your diagnostics and

interaction with the app. It changes and improves personalisation over time to suit your

patterns. We prefer pull (you check the tray) over push spam - classic Lean: reduce

Overprocessing and Peoplerelated irritation.

 

Q: Can I turn off notifications without hurting my progress?

 

A: Yes. Your LBI scores the quality of choices, not how many pings you open. You can

mute and still make progress by opening the app when it suits you, choosing a micro-

action, or even logging a smart delay/delete when that’s the Lean move.

 

Onboarding & learning curve

 

Q: Do I need to know Lean to use Leanier?

A: No. You will get snippets of relevant info through the onboarding process. Once

starting, we keep the language human and tag Lean lightly (e.g., “That skip avoided

Overproduction”). You learn Lean by doing and through interaction with the app.

 

Q: How long is setup?

A: In order for accurate and deep personalisation, you will require 15 mins during

onboarding & the first diagnostic to get started.

 

Q: What if I answer the diagnostic ‘wrong’?

A: You can amend or reset preferences at any time. At the same time, your behaviour

patterns will be taken into consideration by the Leanier OS and adjusted accordingly.

Think of the OS ushering you through the Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle: scan → do →

adjust.

 

Privacy, data & trust

 

Q: What data do you actually need?

A: Enough to match context (time, domain, capacity signals) and to calculate LBI.

 

Q: Do you sell my data?

A: No. Your behaviour data exists to help you improve your flow.

 

Q: Can I see or export my data?

A: Not currently. However, your LBI trends and data will be reflected to you and are

viewable anytime.

 

Price and value

 

Q: Why pay if there are free todo apps?

A: To-do apps add tasks. Leanier removes waste and move you stepwise towards

making better value judgement & decisions. This gives back time, attention and calm. It

is a behaviour change engine. That’s value - quality over quantity.

 

Q: What if I don’t feel the benefit?

A: We invite you to give Leanier a shot for one trial month. If it doesn’t resonate or give

you the confidence of its usefulness, that month is free anyway.

 

Comparisons and coexistence

 

Q: Can I keep my current tools?

A: Yes. Use Leanier as the frontdoor to your day (decide), then execute however &

wherever you like with whatever help you need.

 

Q: I use Notion/Trello/Things - does Leanier replace them?

A: Not necessarily. Those store work; Leanier improves how you choose work. It is

important to choose complementary apps to facilitate decisions and plans developed in

Q: What if my attention pinballs around?
